Its been really a while since my last post. It has been a very busy days, weeks, and months for me in my new office since my return in the company where I started my professional life.
So enough with the apologies!! hahaha
The Aufaks Mountaineers
For this post I'll be sharing my Mt. Batulao experience that happened last July 29, 2018 in the province of Batangas.
This experience is one of my favorites because this is the first time I am with my college tropas (friends) - "The Aufaks"
The journey stated at 4AM in Buendia Makati:
From left to right: Matsing, Ulang, Ulong, Sadam and Paklong
The aufaks mountaineers.
Of course that's not everyone. most of us are already married and some are already working abroad so its not easy to have like this most of the time but nevertheless they still one with us in everything we do.
We had a quick but funny breakfast in one fast food in Buendia before we take the Bus going to Batangas to start our journey.
5AM we stared our almost 2 hours trip from Makati to Nasugbu Batangas.
To prepare ourselves for the rainy mountain climb we take our time to sleep and at around 7AM, we reached the base:
Baguio? No, its just in Batangas
We bought some food from the nearby "sari-sari" and water for our lunch then we started the walk going to the real base where we get our "compulsory" tour guide
From the real base we started our 3 hours of trekking going to the peak.
Then after almost 3 hours of rainy, muddy but funny climb, we finally reached our goal: the SUMMIT.
Its almost perfect but the fogs all around made it less perfect for me. However, its still worth it and fun.
of course, the signature pose cannot be forgotten.
Sadam FTW!
Paklong - the rich kid
The "May-Forever" Love Birds - Ulang and Ulong
We cannot stay there for so long because the rain is signaling us to leave as soon as possible so after only 5 minutes we already head back to the base.
I know I will be very busy again for the coming days weeks and months but I will always find time to update. So See you in my next post.
Regards,
In My Experience.
