Working doesn't have to be STRESSFUL -Laila Chikadora

Jesica Asis aka Laila Chikadora is TV5 News Reporter, DJ, Event and TV host. She has been in the industry for quite sometimes now and I've been a very avid fan of this beautiful girl from Las Pinas ever since I heard her. 

I heard her golden voice for the first time when I was in Elementary in a certain radio program in 90.7 Love Radio Manila under the name Lala Labandera (year 2000 I guess). 

I never heard her in that station after that moment but her voice remained in my ear to the extent that whenever I hear that voice I know its hers. 

I am an avid follower of any love segment in any radio stations that my radio can receive and one time during my college life while I was doing my assignment in Integral Calculus (yes. Im an Engineer. lol.) I accidentally tuned in to a segment called Heart to Heart hosted by non other than Mr. Reggie Valdez of WRR 101.9 For Life (I'm an avid fan of Kapamilya Network as well). I got interested immediately because I'm an emo type of guy back then so I enjoy listening to a any love stories. 

It was my usual routine in my radio when one night while I was waiting for the heart to heart segment I got confused because I'm expecting that a male voice will prompt to greet and update the listener of the current Philippine Standard Time but a distinct and very familiar female voice is what I actually heard. I cant be wrong, I know I already heard that voice when I was a child, I'm sure and I know I'm right. However, when she introduced herself I got confused because she is using a different name so I thought I'm wrong but I know in my heart that I'm certainly right. I just listened to her as a substitute to Sir Reggie that night and I really enjoyed her segment. Heart to Heart is actually a serious program but she managed to make it seriously funny and enjoyable. From then on I always follow her segments specially the weekly top songs and her morning shows with China Heart (now China Paps in WRR). I also follow her online, from her Friendster to her now deleted blog laila.i.ph I'm always around that moments.

As time goes, she decided to switch Networks from ABSCBN to TV5. Of course, she also needed to give up her career in Tambayan101.9 (now MOR 1019 Manila) to pursue her career on other network until Facebook and Twitter came into existence where I became closer to her because when I added her to my Facebook friend list she accepted it and sometimes we do have interaction through comments sections although she really don't know me. 

One of the unforgettable comments that she made in one of my posts is when she gave her view in working, and I was moved by her message and made me realized that "Yes she is right.. working doesn't have to be stressful. I must be enjoying while earning.
