Singapore '19

Maganda Araw!
I actually created this blog for various reasons and one of them is to share my experiences to the places that I've been before and will be going to in the future. Another reason is to have some repository of my pictures as my phone definitely cant handle all those  stuffs. hahaha

Anyway, my last post was last year when I had my last mountain climbing in Mt. Batulao with my college friends. After that, I actually went to Ilocos Norte with my officemates but I decided not share it since Ilocos is one of the places that I already been before so yes, its been a while.

For this post I'll be sharing my experience in my first ever international travel in the Lion City Singapore.

This has been in my travel goals pipeline as early as July 2018 but was only materialized last March 14-19, 2019.

First Day! March 14, 2019
My flight to Singapore was 10PM

Finally my passport got messed with immigration seal and ink. lolz

My first international flight with Cebu Pacific Air 5J 803
I wasn't able to detailedly document this travel because this is a "secret travel". I cant post it to my Facebook account so everything is just going without me posting anything and worst without even capturing every moment.

I landed in Singapore without even having a single picture in Changi Airport because my phone is just going to die any moment and needed to save every single current  so I can contact my friend Sir Bernie who is waiting for me in the Airport.

I landed at around 2AM in Changi Airport:
This is Sir Bernie, he is a good friend of mine and a public school teacher in Singapore. (sosyal diba?)
That's the only picture I have in Changi Airport. How sad. :(

After fetching me from the airport we headed directly to  Jurong West  where Sir Bernie and his housemates live. The apartment is quite good and looks expensive. I stayed there for the entire duration of my stay in Singapore and guess what it was absolutely FOR FREE. So first of all Thanks again to Sir Bernie, Madam Jessie and her boyfriend Boss Renz, Boss Gil, Boss Jr, Madam Tin and her handsome boyfriend Boss Eric.

But going back to my blog (soon ill be vlogging).

After reaching the apartment that was around past 3am already (March 15, 2019) so we just took our time to rest and sleep as Sir Bernie still has a work to do that day.

March 15, 2019
Sir Bernie is not feeling well that day so he decided to just file a Sick Leave that day (shhhh!! he is so kind to do that for me so he can accompany me. (How sweet, but thanks again. haha. shout out to his partner).
We went to many tourist spots during my first day in SG.

We went to Lucky town Plaza which is the favorite spots of the Filipinos there. Its actually a mall where you can find I think all Filipino services (remittance, groceries) and foods. I bought my "pasalubong" there.

After that we went to ORCHARD:
Checking my google maps to locate Orchard.

Come one, where is it?

uhh... I think I'm on the right path.

Yeah I found it.

I don't know but why there's no LV boutique in the Philippines?

I walked around (thanks to my supportive photographer)
not really walking. haha

Add caption

They have a building there called "Isetan and in front of it are some manikin or statue (idk).
wait..... am i an instant devotee of this statue? HAHAHA

of course I will not forget to try their own version of Dirty Ice Cream:

And then we sit down for a awhile to listen to one of the busker around:

He is amazingly talented. I think he is Malaysian (Im Not sure).

After that, we went straight to Garden By the Bay:

and that ends my first day:

And that finally ends my First day.

Second Day March 16, 2019:
For my second day, Sir Bernie brought me to Marina Bay:

We stayed in Marina for a while:

Unfortunately Merlion is not available that day (soooo saddd).

From there we went to Lau Pa Sat where we had our dinner:

And that ends my second Day!

For my third day in Singapore since that was Sunday I dedicated this for a Sunday Obligation so we attended a Holy Mass in Novena Church in Singapore but before that we made a side trip in Universal Studio Singapore:

and then finally the Novena Church

After that, we made another side trip in Lau Pa Sat to meet sir Bernie;s Filipino friends.

My Fourth Day happened to be Monday so I had no one to accompany me to go around so I decided to go around the city alone but it was already late when I go out so I just went to a hawker in Bedok  to have my lunch (unfortunately I wasnt able to document it) after that I went to a place where I dont know the name I just went there:

Who took my picture? Luckily there was a group of Filipinos there that time who are also having a good vacation there so I asked for their help (para saan pat naging friendly ako diba?).

Im enjoying alot when I didnt realized it was already late so at around 9PM (the sun just set) when I moved back to the apartment and I get there at around 10:30PM I waste no time to prepare my things because my flight going back to the Philippines is just few hours more to go.

I bid good bye to all the people in the apartment unfortunately boss Gil is already in the Philippines so I wasn't able to extend my gratitude.

It was a thrilling, heart warming and of course one of the happiest moment of my life that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Until next time! Thanks you all :)
